At Rolling Video Games of Columbia, we want to ensure that all your questions are answered and you feel confident about your upcoming event. Below, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you better understand our services and what to expect.

General Questions

Q: What types of events do you cater to?
A: We cater to a wide range of events including birthday parties, corporate events, school functions, fundraisers, and more.

Q: How many people can the game truck accommodate?
A: Our game truck can comfortably accommodate up to 26 players - 18 players inside & 8 players outside at a time, ensuring everyone has a great gaming experience.

Q: What is the age range suitable for your game truck?
A: Recommended age is 5 years old & up.  Our games and setup are suitable for all ages. We have a variety of games that cater to both kids and adults.

Q: Do we need to supervise the party?
A: While parents or others are always welcome to observe or participate in the gaming it is normally not necessary, however we do ask that at least one adult/host be present to help supervise younger kids. Our game coaches are there to help the kids maximize the experience and will run the event for you.

Q: Are the games age-appropriate?

A: Yes, we offer a wide range of games suitable for different age groups. Our game coaches can also recommend age-appropriate games for your event.

Q: Do I request certain games? 
A: We always bring the full game library to every event  and your Game Coach will listen to and make suggestions to make your event  successful. 

Q: What if too many  people show up to the party?  Is there an extra charge?
A: Certainly not!  Bring them on!  We'll keep them all having fun!

Q: Is the a travel/fuel surcharge?

A: Depending on where your event is located, a travel surcharge may apply.  You will be able to see travel surcharge, when submitting booking request.

Booking & Payments

Q: How do I book an event?
A: You can easily book your event online through our booking page or by contacting us directly via phone or email.

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We invoice using PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express)

Q: Is a deposit required to book an event?
A: Yes, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time.

Event Details

Q: How long does a typical game truck party last?
A: Our standard party packages are 2 hours long. However, we offer customizable packages to fit your needs.

 

Q: What time will the game truck arrive?
A: Our game truck will arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up and ensure everything is ready for your event.

 

Q: What do you need from us on the day of the event?
A:
The truck and trailer together is about 55 feet long.  All we need is a safe and accessible parking space for our truck.  We take care of the rest!

Safety & Technical

Q: What safety measures are in place?
A: Our game truck is regularly cleaned and sanitized. Our game coaches are trained to supervise and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

 

Q: What happens in case of bad weather?
A: Our game truck is climate-controlled, so the weather won’t affect your event. In extreme conditions, we will work with you to reschedule your event.

Q: Do I need to provide power at the site? 
A: No. Our game theater is a fully self-powered unit. We have our own ultra quite generator to run all of our systems.
